Job Summary

ElevateHR is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Business Development to drive our company's growth initiatives and revenue generation strategy. This executive-level position will oversee our business development team, establish key partnerships, and create scalable processes to accelerate market penetration. You will work closely with the leadership team to define and execute our go-to-market strategy while building and mentoring a high-performing business development organization.

Key Responsibilities

I. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company objectives and growth targets
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, business models, and revenue streams
  • Collaborate with the executive team to establish quarterly and annual business development KPIs and targets
  • Build and oversee the execution of the company's partnership and channel strategy

II. Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team
  • Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and development plans for team members
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Implement effective sales methodologies, training programs, and career development paths for the team members.

III. Revenue Growth & Business Expansion

  • Drive significant revenue growth through new client acquisition and market expansion
  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new industry segments and geographical markets
  • Oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Establish pricing strategies that maximize revenue while maintaining competitive positioning

IV. Strategic Partnerships & Relationship Management

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships to expand ElevateHR's market reach
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in target organizations
  • Represent ElevateHR at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives in prospect and client organizations

V. Market Intelligence & Product Strategy

  • Gather and analyze market feedback to inform product development priorities
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure offerings meet market demands
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities
  • Contribute to the company's thought leadership in the HR technology space

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of proven experience in business development, sales leadership, or related roles, preferably in SaaS or HR technology sectors.
  • Track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling business development operations
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams with demonstrated ability to coach and develop talent
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, B2B SaaS business models, and HR technology landscape
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred but not required
