Helpdesk Support Technician

The Helpdesk Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end users, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, and software. This role involves troubleshooting issues, resolving technical problems, and delivering excellent customer service in a timely and efficient manner.

• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a professional manner
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
• Document and track support requests using a ticketing system
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary
• Provide guidance and training to users on system usage
• Maintain system security and ensure data confidentiality
• Perform routine system updates and maintenance

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred)
• Proven experience in a helpdesk or technical support role
• Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common business applications
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
