Job Summary

We are seeking a Marketing Professional with 10+ years’ experience, combining strong brand and product marketing skills, and startup-level agility. You will own marketing strategy and execution end-to-end: from brand positioning, product adoption, partner and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable leading creative storytelling and driving data-informed marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy across brand, product, and partner engagement.
  • Lead the full marketing function—creative, content, campaigns, and digital performance.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure resources are allocated for maximum impact.

2. Storytelling & Brand Narrative

  • Craft Shukran’s brand narrative and ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Highlight Shukran success stories and user journeys through powerful storytelling across blog, social, events, and partner channels.
  • Position Shukran as the go-to tipping and financial inclusion platform for the service workers in the hospitality and tourism sector.
  • Safeguard brand identity and visual standards across internal and external communications.

3. Go-To-Market and Growth Champion

  • Translate product features into compelling value propositions for different customer segments.
  • Develop and execute Shukran’s go‑to‑market strategies for priority segments (hotels, restaurants, travel, safaris, and related service industries), aligned to company growth targets.
  • Monitor and report on Shukran’s marketing OKRs and performance, providing insight and recommendations to the Shukran leadership team
  • Drive measurable growth outcomes for Shukran, including pipeline generation, user acquisition, product adoption, and retention, using data‑driven experiments and clear KPIs

4. Campaign Management & Digital Marketing

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across social, email, events and any other available channels.
  • Implement data-driven performance marketing to acquire and retain users.
  • Conduct A/B testing and iterate for maximum ROI.

5. Market Insights & Positioning

  • Conduct deep market research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the hospitality and tourism space.
  • Analyze competitor strategies and market positioning to refine Shukran’s approach.
  • Provide insight reports to the product and leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Organize & represent Shukran’s at industry events and position the brand and contribute to community growth.

6. Other duties and leadership

  • Support cross‑functional initiatives within the Shukran team (product, sales, customer success) to ensure marketing is tightly integrated into the customer journey.​
  • Stay ahead of fintech, payments, and hospitality marketing trends to introduce innovative tactics, tools, and channels that can be tested and scaled within Shukran
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role & exposure to a startup ecosystem.
  • Strong background in brand and product marketing.
  • Proven ability to build and execute multi-audience marketing strategies and communications.
  • Startup experience required; agency experience preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality/tourism marketing is a strong advantage.
  • Hands-on expertise in digital marketing, campaign management, and performance optimization.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with an eye for design and brand cohesion.
  • Data-driven decision-making and familiarity with analytics tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environment.

  • Strong brand storytelling and copywriting skills, with the ability to turn user journeys and impact into compelling narratives across channels.​
  • Deep digital marketing expertise across content, social, email, SEO/SEM, and paid campaigns, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or B2B/B2B2C contexts.​
  • Strong analytical skills and data literacy, including comfort with marketing analytics, experimentation, and measuring funnel performance against KPIs/OKRs.​
  • Proven GTM and campaign planning skills, from positioning and messaging through to launch, optimization, and reporting.​
  • Community building and engagement skills, especially with service workers and hospitality/travel partners, both online and offline.​
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence founders, product, sales, and external partners.​
  • Strong project and time management, able to manage multiple campaigns, experiments, and content streams in parallel.​
  • Familiarity with modern marketing and CRM tools (for example, email automation, social scheduling, analytics platforms, and basic design tools).​
  • Strategic thinking with a bias to execution: comfortable moving between high-level strategy and hands-on campaign delivery.​
  • Adaptability, creativity, and problem‑solving in a fast‑moving, resource‑constrained startup environment.
